PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of connection between a handhole and a cable protecting tube, a pipe joint set, and a short pipe for pipe joint connection wherein the efficiency of work of connecting a handhole and a cable protecting tube can be enhanced. SOLUTION: Pipe joints 13 include three types of pipe joints, first pipe joint 14, second pipe joint 15, and third pipe joint 16. Each of the pipe joints includes a short pipe connector 31 to be connected to a short pipe 12 for pipe joint connector; and a protecting tube connector 32 to which a cable protecting tube is to be connected. The first pipe joint 14, second pipe joint 15, and third pipe joint 16 are prepared to cope with cable protecting tubes different in diameter. Their respective protecting tube connectors 32 are made different in diameter. The diameters of the short pipes 12 for pipe joint connection are unified. Hence, the short pipe connectors 31 of the first pipe joint 14, second pipe joint 15, and third pipe joint 16 are made identical in diameter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
