PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image output by a plurality of image output systems while allowing an image output request to be transferred through a communication path in a single system without providing an independent communication form for each image output system.

SOLUTION: A network communication means 31 establishes the communication path via a network 2. The image output request in a first image output system received via the network 2 is supplied to a first control information generation means 53 via a first high-order layer communication means 52 and converted to the control information. The image output request in a second image output system received via the network 2 is supplied to a second control information generation means 45 via a second high-order layer communication means 44 and converted to the control information. An image output execution means 34 executes the image output on the basis of the control information from the first/second control information generation means 53, 45.
