PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work of attaching the narrow belt-like reinforcing member 13 onto the slope parts 41, 43 and the bottom parts 45, 47 of the molding drum 37 to shorten the time for manufacturing the reinforcing layer 9 while restraining the increase of the number of the steps for manufacturing the reinforcing layer 9 and the weight increase of the air pouch 1. SOLUTION: The molding drum is equipped with the crown part 39 resembling the outer peripheral face of the air pouch 1 and one pair of slope parts 41, 43 each formed continuously on both sides of the crown part 39 and each designed so as to be thinner as they become far from the crown part 39. The outer peripheral faces of one pair of the slope parts 41, 43 are each provided with the surface treatment to hold the belt-like reinforcing member 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
