PURPOSE:To generate a sound field in reply with the preference to a listener with a simple procedure by providing a memory storing a different reververation characteristic data from the type of a sound field, an operating section and a CPU or the like so as to execute a sound field generating processing program. CONSTITUTION:The reververation characteristic data depending on the shape of the sound field, that is, a circular hall, a rectangular hall and sector hole or the like and a high frequency attenuation characteristic data of reververation sound depending on the type of material of a reflecting wall are stored in a memory 13 of a parameter control circuit 11 in advance. Then when up-down keys of an operating section 15 are depressed simultaneously, a CPU 12 transits to the sound field generating mode and a sound field generating processing program is executed. That is, the sound field shape, size, type of material of wall and listening position in the sound field are set via the memory 13, a display section 14 and the parameter of the sound field is calculated. Thus, the sound field in replay with the preference to the user is generated with a simple operation by having only to operate the up-down key of the operation section 15 while observing the display of the display section 14. |
