<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material-selecting method for selecting material specifications, which conform to chemical components and mechanical properties that parts require, with a simple method, for selecting a standard material classification, which conforms to a material classification classified with the uses and categories of parts, with a simple method, for improving efficiency in designing plan of products, for easily extracting the corresponding material specifications of broken parts based on the analysis results of the chemical components of the broken parts, and for efficiently taking countermeasures against the breaking; and to provide a chemical component determining method and a system thereof. <P>SOLUTION: When a material is selected based on chemical components by extracting material specifications which conform to chemical components requirement of the material, material specifications of a plurality of materials are preliminarily stored for each chemical component in a material component specification memory. Then, the material specifications of chemical components corresponding to the required chemical components are retrieved in the material component specification memory to extract the material specifications of the chemical components corresponding to the required chemical components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
