PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device in which unevenness of brightness does not occur by uniformly absorbing residual moisture from a material like a barrier rib on an array substrate, with a desiccant. SOLUTION: This is the organic EL display device that is provided with the array substrate 10 equipped with a first electrode 26, a second electrode arranged in opposition to the first electrode, and a plurality of pixels 20 which are arranged in a matrix state and which are provided with at least a light emitting layer between the first electrode 26 and the second electrodes 36, 37, and that is provided with a sealing member which is provided with the desiccant 42 on the opposing face to the pixels 20, and which is sealed to the array substrate 10 with a gap.
