PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chucking plate retainer by which the mounting in the properly positioned state is possible without occurring the floating. SOLUTION: In this chucking plate retainer 8 for restricting detachment of the chucking plate from an upper shell 4 (object for mounting) while allowing rotation of the chucking plate, a positioning hole 24 for restricting the mounting position of the chucking plate retainer 8 with respect to the upper shell 4 is communicated and formed over other faces from one face at the side of upper shell 4 on the chucking plate retainer 8, and the positioning hole 24 is formed so that a minimum diameter section 31 having the minimum inner diameter is formed at the one face side in the thickness direction from a center in the thickness direction of the chucking plate retainer 8, and also the inner diameter becomes gradually smaller as going to the minimum diameter section 31 from an opening edge section of the one face side.
