PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photomultiplier tube of a micro structure realizing high multiplying efficiency. SOLUTION: The photomultiplier tube, provided with an envelope with its inside maintained in vacuum, has a photoelectric face (22) as a reflective photoelectric face, an electron multiplier (31), an anode (32), and a voltage distribution part (311)integrally arranged on a device loading face as a part of an inner wall face regulating an inner space of the envelope. Especially, the electron multiplier (31) is constituted of a plurality of steps of dynodes for cascade-multiplying photoelectron from the photoelectric face (22), and the voltage distribution part (311) impressing corresponding voltages on these steps of dynodes is to be on the same plane as the electron multiplier (31).
