[Class 83 (iii)] A tool-holder for a lathe &c. comprises a rotatable body 2 screwed into the head of a shank 1 and having a groove 3 for the tool 4 which seats on a bolt 6 screwing into the head in alignment with the part 2 and determining the height of the tool. The angular position of the tool is determined by rotation of the body 2 and clamping is effected by a screw 5. In a modification, Fig. 3, the body 2 is integral with the shank. |
