A method for inputting Hangeul in a mobile communication terminal is provided to input consonants by using a keypad and input vowels through an additional input device, thereby improving convenience and speed in inputting Hangeul and decreasing the number of buttons of the terminal by dividing input of the consonants and the vowels. Hangeul vowels, displayed through a predetermined input device, are arranged on directional keys, and 14 Hangeul consonants are arranged on 14 numeral buttons. A '*' button enables Hangeul input mode conversion to a Hangeul, English, or numeral mode. Special characters are inputted by using a '#' button. The predetermined input device is composed of a touch pad or a fingerprint recognition sensor. |
