PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan convector, in which a heat exchanger can be easily mounted on a back panel after accurately welding a U-shaped pipe to an opening-side end of a heat transfer tube of the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This fan convector is adapted so that a main body is constituted by the back panel opened to the front and a front panel installed to the front surface of the back panel, a suction port and an outlet port are provided in an upper portion and a lower portion of the back panel, respectively, and the heat exchanger 8 comprising a number of fins 8a, and a plurality of U-shaped heat transfer tubes 8b, side plates provided at both side parts of the fins and attached to the back panel and U-shaped pipes 8c welded to the opening-side tips of the heat transfer tubes and a blowing fan 9 feeding air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger through the outlet port are provided in an air passage connecting the suction port to the outlet port. Both the side plates include U-shaped flange parts 11a opposed to the heat transfer tubes, and mounting parts 11b1, 11b2, 11b3 and 11b4 for the heat exchanger provided in the longitudinal direction thereof.
