PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper motor capable of reducing backlash in the rotating direction of an output shaft at low cost. SOLUTION: A power converting mechanism has a power converting member rotatably connected to a worm wheel on a connecting shaft, the power converting member is furnished with a sector gear part to be engaged with an output gear, and a gear shaft of the sector gear part is oscillatably supported on the output shaft by an oscillating plate. A first sliding member is installed on a distal end of the output shaft, a second sliding part is installed on a distal end of the connecting shaft, a third sliding part is installed on a distal end of the gear shaft and they slide on an inner surface of a cover. A sliding protruded part 51, a sliding protruded part 52 for the connecting shaft and a sliding protruded part 53 for the gear shaft are formed on the cover 17, the second sliding part slides on the sliding protruded part 51 and the third sliding protruded part slides on the sliding protruded part 53 when a rear wiper arm is at one of the reversing position, and the second sliding part slides on the sliding protruded part 52 and the third sliding protruded part slides on the sliding protruded part 51 when the rear wiper arm is at the other reversing position.
