<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which more precisely reduces noise to signals acquired from a prescribed information recording layer in an information recording medium having a plurality of information recording layers, and also provide an optical information reproducing device having the optical pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device irradiates an information recording medium, which has a first information recording layer and a second information recording layer, with light to reproduce information recorded to the information recording medium. In this case, the optical pickup device is provided with; a light-converging means which converges light on the first information recording layer at the first time and converges light on the second information recording layer at the second time which is different from the first time; and a signal-processing means which corrects a first signal acquired from first reflected light reflected from the first information recording layer with a second signal acquired from second reflected light reflected from the second information recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
