PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and an on-vehicle display device which can be improved in display quality and visibility. SOLUTION: In a case 11, a reflection-suppressing part 15 for attenuating projected display light is formed on an annular wall part 13 (frame part). The reflection-suppressing part 15 previously suppresses undesirable display (display in the direction that should not to be displayed by right) which can be generated as the display light projected from the outer circumference side end part of a display plane 12a is reflected by the case 11 and the like.
