The device has a control server (3) for transmitting data packets to a router (5) with a modulator/demodulator by a transmission control protocol/Internet protocol (TCP/IP) over an Ethernet (4) for controlling and monitoring the packets to output TCP/IP signals. The modulator/demodulator modulates the signals in a home current signal of a home power supply system (7). The TCP/IP signals are transmitted to a client (8) with a built-in web server by the system. The web server receives and converts the TCP/IP signals into control signals from an electrical load over a control line.
