<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of supplying hot water at a set temperature even when water is boiled and the hot water is supplied again, while an electric water/hot water mixing valve stands by at the mixing rate at which hot water supply is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater is provided with a hot water storage tank 1, a hot water storage temperature sensor 5 for detecting a temperature of an upper part of the hot water storage tank 1, the electric water/hot water mixing valve 6 for mixing water and the hot water, a mixed hot water supply pipe 10 for feeding the mixed hot water to a faucet or the like, a water flow detection means 13 for detecting a flow of the hot water passing the mixed hot water supply pipe 10, and a control part 16. The control part 16 controls the electric water/hot water mixing valve 6 to stand by for a predetermined time at a mixing rate when the hot water supply is stopped when the water flow detection means 13 detects stop of the hot water supply passing the mixed hot water supply pipe 10, and changes the mixing rate of the electric water/hot water mixing valve 6 to a water side in response to a change of a detected temperature of the hot water storage temperature sensor 5 when the electric water/hot water mixing valve 6 stands by at the mixing rate when hot water supply is stopped, and when the detected temperature of the hot water storage temperature sensor 5 changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
