<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large and square synthetic resin-made bottle capable of obtaining the consistent grip while preventing considerable decrease of the suppressing force by a peripheral groove in a corner part to the angular change in the lateral direction by attached reinforcing ribs, and preventing folding or buckling at the peripheral groove part. <P>SOLUTION: In the synthetic resin-made square bottle, any buckling and deformation or increase or decrease of groove width is prevented by forming a longitudinal rib 11 into a weir form on a corner peripheral groove part 8 located on a corner wall 6 as a cornering portion of a peripheral groove 7 formed in a center of a body portion 3. Further, a groove side wall 9 of the corner peripheral groove part 8 is located on both sides of the longitudinal rib 11 to ensure the reinforcing rib function of the corner peripheral groove part 8 so that the barrel portion 3 can be stabely gripped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
