PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating hair treatment in which effect of hair treatment can be enhanced and the effect can be kept longer. SOLUTION: The method for operating hair treatment comprises carrying out a pretreating agent-applying step for applying an acidic pretreating agent containing pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid to the hair, a conditioning agent-applying step for applying a conditioning agent containing polyquaternium-11 and a copolymer of hydrogenated castor oil/sebacic acid to the hair, a winding operation step for winding the hair around a rod 1 equipped with a heat-generating apparatus in the interior and a rod-heating step for heating the hair by supplying electricity from a code 6 to the rod 1 and generating heat.
