The invention relates to a method for detection of obstacles by radar, in which the recorded linear radar signal is firstly digitised and then processed using a CFAR-algorithm. The difference of the signal value and the CFAR value is multiplied using an analysis function in order to carry out a subsequent averaging of several analysed signal values.
