<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which can be started quickly even at the temperature of freezing point or below since sucking back of condensed water being collected during stoppage of a fuel cell in an internal manifold to a gas passageway is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell stack, a first hole is formed on a MEA (membrane electrode assembly) (2), a second hole with a size different from that of the first hole is formed on a separator (1), and the internal manifold (4) is formed by laminating the MEA (2) and the separator (1) in such a way that the first hole and the second hole are registered. Consequently, also a plurality of channels (8) which extend in a direction of a periphery of the internal manifold (4) are formed on the internal surface of the internal manifold (4) over a range in the direction of the lamination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
