<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a magnetic head from being partially worn out in a system where the width of a magnetic stripe is narrower than the write track width of a magnetic head. <P>SOLUTION: This recording medium processor is provided width a magnetic head 20 for operating the reading/writing of magnetic data in a band-shaped magnetic stripe 6 provided in a recording medium 8, a head sliding mechanism(guide cover 42, a feeding screw 44 and a magnetic head driving motor 46 or the like) for making the magnetic stripe 6 and the magnetic head 20 relatively slide in the longitudinal direction of the magnetic stripe 6 and a sliding position setting mechanism(conveyance roller 16, a feeding motor 34 or the like) for displacing the magnetic head 20 or the recording medium 8 to the width direction of the magnetic stripe 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
