<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction engaging device for a transmission capable of shortening the period of a plateau hydraulic pressure while suppressing the occurrence of a drag phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: The friction engaging device 10 for the transmission comprises a plurality of friction disks 30 and plates 35; a cylinder part 11a; a hydraulic chamber 12 formed in the cylinder part 11a; a hydraulic piston 20 put in stroke in the axial direction of the cylinder part 11a in response to oil pressure received by a pressure receiving surface 21; and a pressing part 32b pressing the friction disks 30 and the plates 35 when the hydraulic piston 20 is put in stroke. The pressing part 32b is provided to move integrally with the inner peripheral side of the hydraulic piston 20, and the outer peripheral side stroke quantity L1 of the pressure receiving surface 21 of the hydraulic piston 20 is shorter than the inner peripheral side stroke quantity L3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
