PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the security of decoding regarding decoding of encrypted data using a host processor and a co-processor. SOLUTION: A decoding method is a method of decoding data using a host processor 6 and at least one co-processor 10 and includes a step of supplying a set of encrypted and collected data to the host processor 6; a step of segmenting the set of encrypted data into a group of segments using the host processor 6; a step of supplying a first portion of the segment group to the co-processor 10; a step 28 of decrypting the first portion of the segment group using the co-processor 10; a step 30 of decrypting a second portion of the segment group using the host processor 6; and a step 32 of sending decrypted data with the combination of the decrypted first portion and second portion.
