PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal one-drop-fill method and a vertical conducting material having excellent adhesiveness to a substrate and causing no contamination of a liquid crystal in the manufacture of a liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The sealing agent for a liquid crystal one-drop-fill method contains a (meta)acrylate compound having a structure represented by general formula (1), wherein the (meta)acrylate compound accounts for 10 to 70 wt.% of a curable resin component included in the agent.
