<p>A printing press surrenders a printed web to a cutting station at which the web is sub-divided into lengths at the interface between two rotating cylinders (4, 5), each of which incorporates one half of overlapping scissor (6) edges. Each cutting edge incorporates a guide, a cutting edge and guide surfaces. The guides and cutting edges are located outside the web margins. One initial presentation the cutters slide in the guides before locking in the cutting position.</p> |
