New arylamine compounds, useful in electrophotography and electroluminescence devices e.g. in organic light emitting devices

Arylamine compounds (I) and (II) are new. Arylamine compounds of formula (I) and (II) are new. In formula (I): x : 1-3, preferably 1-2; Y 1>styrene derivative of formula (B) when x is smaller than 3; when x is 1, two Y 1> units in ortho position may be bridged (as shown in formula (III) where p = 0 or 2) and form a carbazole or 10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[b,f]azepine with the nitrogen atom. Y 1> may also be (hetero)aryl, H, 1-8C-alkyl or 3-8C-cycloalkyl. In formula (II): x : 1-2; Y 1>group (B) when x is smaller than 2. Y 1> may also be (hetero)aryl, H, 1-8C-alkyl or 3-8C-cycloalkyl; R 1>, R 2>1-8C-alkyl, 3-8C-cycloalkyl, 1-6C-alkoxy, 1-6C-acyl, COO(1-6C-alkyl), halo, COOH, CHO, OH, SO 2H, SO 3H, CN, SCN, OCN, NO 2, polynuclear or its analogs, hetero analogs or aromatic system; Z : CHO or acetal group of formula (-CH(O-R 4>)(O-R 5>)); R 4>, R 5>1-4C-alkyl; or R 4>+R 5>alkylene ring; n, m : 0 or 1; Ar : homo- or hetero- aromatic compound of formula (IV) or (V); A : (=C)(R 6>)(R 7>), (=Si)(R 8>)(R 9>), (=N)(R 9>), (=S) or (=O); and R 6>-R 10>1-8C-alkyl coupled with a spiro unit.
