<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent time and monetary load in packing and carrying a plasma display from increasing and also to prevent the display from turning over. <P>SOLUTION: A packing apparatus for a plasma display includes a parallelopiped packing box 101 for individually storing a planar plasma display which has a panel including a pair of substrates oppositely placed with at least a front face transparent and a plurality of discharging cells formed between the substrates wherein the depth of the box 101 is shorter than lateral and longitudinal lengths, a hole 106 and a hole 107 opened at the same positions on a front face 102 and a rear face 103 of the box 101, and a coupling member 201 for tightly coupling a plurality of packing boxes 101 arranged in contact along the depth direction and pinching the hole 107 on the rear face 103 of a closer box 101 and the hole 106 on the front face 102 of the farther box 101 thereby coupling the closer box 101 with the farther box 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
