<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil from adhering to a valve seat by imparting oil repellency to the valve seat so as to increase responsiveness to opening of a valve element upon excitation of a coil in an injection valve for gaseous fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The injection valve for gaseous fuel comprises a valve housing 2, the flat valve seat 13, a metallic nozzle member 11 having a nozzle hole 14 extending through a central portion of the valve seat 13, the valve element 15 including at its one end a rubber seat member 20 which cooperates with the valve seat 13, the coil 25, a fixed core 29, and a return spring 33 which biases the valve element 15 toward the valve seat 13. In the injection valve for gaseous fuel, the fixed core 29 attracts the valve element 15 so as to separate the seat member 20 from the valve seat 13 upon excitation of the coil 25. The valve seat 13 has a valve seat coating 51 of fluorocarbon resin with which the seat member 20 makes close contact, thereby preventing adhesion of the oil to the valve seat 13 by the oil repelling function of the valve seat coating 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
