PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair device for a core shroud of a boiling water reactor. SOLUTION: A tie-rod repair device includes a tie (64) rod with its upper end fixed to a shroud flange (62) at the highest part of a shroud. A lower end of the tie rod passes through an opening part (70) in a shroud support plate without giving any load to the support (30) plate. The lower end of the tie rod is anchor-fixed to a lower end of a core shroud support (24) cylinder so that the route of compressive load bypasses the support plate and directly passes through the support cylinder and a shroud cylinder assembly, with the compressive load exerted on a cracked shroud by the tie rod in order to bind it.
