PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a low-cost electroformed mold, which enables the mold to be manufactured in a short time. SOLUTION: A prototype 1 formed of a resin material is immersed in an electrolytic solution 3, so that an electroformed layer can be formed on the conductive layer layer of the prototype 1. The prototype 1, in which the electroformed layer 6 is formed, is taken out from the electrolytic solution 3; a backside of the electroformed layer 6 is enclosed with a frame body 7, and reinforced by mounting a rib 8 and a reinforcing bolt 82; and after that, the prototype 1 is turned upside down, so that liquid nitrogen is injected into the recess 12 of the prototype 1. The prototype 1, which is cooled by the liquid nitrogen, is contracted and deformed, and separated from the electroformed layer 6 in a short period of time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
