PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open type hot water supply device easily carrying out hot water supply, utilizing an open type hot water storage can. SOLUTION: The hot water storage can 1 storing hot water heated by a heating means 2 is communicated with a water feed pipe 4 provided with a feed valve 7. The feed valve 7 is opened and closed in response to a water level of a water level sensor 6 detecting a water level in the hot water storage can 1 to constantly maintain a certain water level. Since a hot water supply heat exchanger 9 is provided in the hot water storage can 1, feed water from the water feed pipe 4 is subjected to heat exchange with the hot water in the hot water storage can 1 to be supplied as feed hot water, and the hot water storage can is an atmospherically opened type, modification can be carried out such that only a small installation space is needed. Since direct pressure hot water supply using water service pressure is carried out in hot water supply, neither a hot water supply booster pump nor complicated control is needed, favorable hot water supply is always possible, and it can be reliably used.
