<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby an operating result intended by an operator can be obtained when a server side carries out operations associated with the control of reproduction contents while reproduced contents are viewed at a reproducing apparatus in a system comprising the server for distributing streaming data and the reproducing apparatus for reproducing the distributed streaming data. <P>SOLUTION: The server apparatus (300) communicatably connected to the reproducing apparatus (400) for reproducing the distributed streaming data and distributing the streaming data includes: a means for entering an instruction of controlling a reproduction result at the reproducing apparatus (400); a means for acquiring time from the distribution of the streaming data until reproduction of the streaming data by the reproducing apparatus; and a means for controlling distribution positions of the streaming data going to be distributed on the basis of the acquired time when a prescribed instruction is entered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
