<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To partition an inside of an airbag in a side airbag covering the side of an occupant of an automobile, and ensure the thickness dimension in deploying even in a part disposed with a gas supply means. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag 14 of an airbag device 11 provided on the seat of the automobile is composed by stitching four sheets of ground fabric 41, 42, 43 together. The inside of the airbag 14 is partitioned into a plurality of air chambers 54, 55 by a partition wall 47 of a third ground fabric 43. An insertion part 57 is provided between a second ground fabric 42 and the partition wall part 47.
