<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise reconstruction of an image captured using cone beams by establishing a "fan-para data conversion" method (a method of converting fan beam data into parallel data) in the cone beam. <P>SOLUTION: An image reconstruction control part 21 collects and processes the detection data of irregular parallel beams whose transmission angles to an object are parallel, for every transmission angle based on detection data obtained by the rotation of a prescribed angle of an X-ray source and a two-dimensional X-ray detector beam by ignoring the effects of the rotating-angle directional components of the X-ray beam source and the two-dimensional detector on the beams from the X-ray source to the two-dimensional X-ray detector. An irregular parallel beam back-projection processing part 22 reconstructs a tomographic image of the object based on the detection data of the irregular parallel beams collected and processed as stated above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
