<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production apparatus for efficiently producing hydrogen from a hydrogen source containing a compound having hydrogen as a structural element with a visible ray-responsive photocatalytic material using visible rays emitted from a light source or capable of accumulating proton and electron, a hydrogen production method and a hydrogen production system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen production apparatus is provided with a proton production part, a proton conductive part, a hydrogen production part, an electron accumulation part, a proton accumulation part and a switch. The proton conductive part is held between the proton production part and the hydrogen production part and is joined to the proton accumulation part. The proton production part and the hydrogen production part are connected to each other through the electron accumulation part and the switch in this order. The proton production part contains a 1st electric conductive material, the visible ray responsive photocatalytic material and a charge separation material, and the hydrogen production part contains a 2nd electric conductive material and a metallic material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
