PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel excellent in light weight and reliability. SOLUTION: The display panel is provided with a cover member with its periphery part adhered and fixed to a rear face of a cathode panel and its center part surrounded by the periphery part jointed to a reinforcing panel, which is pressed on to the periphery part of the cathode panel through a support frame by an atmospheric pressure put on the cover member.
