PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer having good moldability, excellent oil resistance, and excellent gas barrier properties, to provide a molding made from the composition, and to provide a multilayer molding having a layer made from the composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises: (A) a block copolymer having at least one polymer block (i) comprising vinylaromatic compound units and at least one hydroxy polymer block (ii) comprising optionally hydrogenated conjugated diene compound units; and (B) a layered inorganic compound organically modified with organic cations each containing a polar functional group in the ion.
