<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing an image which forms an image that does not have positional deviation even when an amount of positional deviation is not remeasured in the case where the amount of position deviation is changed by variation of a distance between a recorder and a recording member. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of adjustment for shipment of an image forming apparatus, an optical path equation, a recording face equation and distance information are registered. When the distance information is varied, the optical path equation is moved in parallel (S2), and then a recording position at the time after changing of the distance is calculated from the moved optical path equation and the recording face equation (S3). Distance correction information is calculated from the difference between the recording position at the time after changing of the distance and the recording position at the time before changing of the distance (S4), and then an amount of corrected positional deviation is calculated based on the distance correction information and the amount of positional deviation (S5). When an image is formed, a positional deviation correction image is formed by referencing the amount of corrected positional deviation (S6), and then the image is formed (S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
