<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defocusing phenomenon when reading negotiable securities and paper money as an original, and to improve the accuracy of a read performance in infrared read since light reflected from the original is converted in different conjugate lengths at a light receiving part of a sensor IC due to the color aberration of a rod lens, especially a wavelength is long for an infrared light source and the degradation of a read resolution is large. <P>SOLUTION: A contact image sensor comprises: a multi-color light source provided with the infrared light source for irradiating the original having a specified area to react to infrared rays with two or more kinds of light including the infrared rays; a lens for converging the light reflected from the original; the light receiving part for receiving the light which passes through the lens; a transmission body partially arranged corresponding to the width in an orthogonal direction of the specified area in the orthogonal direction to the moving direction of the original between the original and the lens; and an original guide for supporting the transmission body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
