<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing fur, hairs, soap scum and the like to keep bath water and the bathtub clean and for carrying out effectively sterilization, deodorization and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This cleaning apparatus is shaped like a toy ship, a toy fish and the like. While it moves on the water surface along the bathtub, it removes fur, hairs, soap scum and the like to keep bath water and the bathtub clean. It moves on the water surface along the bathtub while it scours fur, soap scum and the like adhering on the bathtub along the water surface. It has a driving part which has a power source using a Peltier element carrying out the energy conversion from a temperature difference to electric power, a water intake part which takes bath water into its main body, and a filtering part which separates fur, hairs, soap scum and the like from the taken-in bath water. Titanium oxide is used as its main or coating material.
