The proposed method for transmitting and processing data for tourist organizations by using electronic facilities for storing, updating, searching, and displaying data, consists in collecting data, forming the data blocks, storing the data blocks on data carriers in a computing system, and transmitting the data to the data base of the service center for servicing the tourist organizations using the facilities of an information network such as theInternet. The tourist organizations and other users obtain the data on applying to the service center with corresponding requests.
