<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel material for cutlet or tempura healthy with respect to its volume, and putting slight burden on the stomach of an eater so as to be suitable even for women, children or aged persons: and to provide a method for producing the material. <P>SOLUTION: The material for cutlet or tempura is produced through the following process: applying force from unspecified directions on slices of meat each with a thickness of 0.5-2.0 mm so as to form almost spherical meat blocks 12 having a little spaces in its inside part; gathering a plurality of the meat blocks 12 together; adding thin slices 13a of cabbage 13 to the blocks so as to be dispersed to form a meat-block aggregate 14; molding the meat-block aggregate 14 into a desired shape; and freezing the aggregate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
