Method for automatically opening the barrier of a passage way for persons

The method involves detecting the number of valid passage authorizations for the persons passing through a passage. The actual number of persons in the passage is acquired using a computer aided camera system. The number of acquired valid passage authorizations is compared with the actual number of persons. The passage lock is unlocked if the number of persons corresponds with the number of passage authorizations. An independent claim is also included for an unlocking system for automatically unlocking a passage lock.
