An intrinsic information service system for servicing intrinsic information to a user by using external sound source recognition of a mobile communication terminal, an intrinsic information service method, and the mobile communication terminal thereof are provided to repeatedly insert a message to be delivered to a user into a sound source file as intrinsic information, and to detect the intrinsic information from a sound source if the terminal receives the source from the file so that the detected information is outputted to the user through a screen. A sound source recognizer(21) receives a particular sound source generated from reproduction of a sound source file from the outside, and recognizes sound source information. An intrinsic information detector(22) detects intrinsic information inserted while the sound source file is formed. An intrinsic information interpreter(23) decodes the intrinsic information to interpret the decoded information. An intrinsic information manager(24) outputs contents of the intrinsic information on a screen, and displays the outputted contents to a user.
