FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to electric engineering and may be used in power supply systems. Method of electrical signal processing consists of two components. One of components is the sum of harmonics providing for signal summation with harmonic signal having far higher frequency as compared to frequency of the first harmonics in summation group and raising of sum signal to the second positive power. Besides, electrical sinusoidal signal with harmonic signal frequency is selected from the generated electrical signal. Based on the signal availability, another component is identified in electrical signal being processed. In addition, this component is either d.c. transient or direct. ^ EFFECT: generation of electrical signal by means of which either dc transient component or direct component appearing as a result of initial signal rectifying is identified in initial signal.
