<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collet capable of surely sucking a work even in the miniaturized work and a work conveyor using the collet. <P>SOLUTION: The collet 40 sucks the work 10 with a metallic section 24. The collet 40 has an internal space 48 extended in the direction approaching and separating to and from the work 10 in the collet 40 and a magnet 50 movable in the internal space 48.
