PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for optimizing the property of fuel depending on the operating conditions of an internal combustion engine while minimizing the degradation of energy efficiency, when supplying fuel into the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This fuel supply device for supplying fuel into the internal combustion engine comprises a fuel tank, a fuel gasifying means located on the downstream side of the fuel tank for gasifying the fuel, a fuel separating means located on the downstream side of the fuel gasifying means for separating the gasified fuel, a fuel reforming means located on the downstream side of the fuel gasifying means for reforming the gasified fuel, and a reformed fuel supply means for supplying the separated and reformed fuel into the internal combustion engine.
