PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed device also serving as a selector, which can be applied to all types of automobiles and save loads in manufacturing and stock management for manufacturers. SOLUTION: This device also serving as the selector can be attached to a movement vehicle, and includes a microprocessor, a function storage device, and the selector. Two, four, eight or sixteen balls (sensory devices) are fixed on a shaft of the movement vehicle equiangularly. When proving one of the balls, a probe device of the movement vehicle immediately emits a pulse signal, which is received by the microprocessor at the same time, and is accumulated as one accumulating total. When the selector is switched to its one selection item, a corresponding conversion function is selected by the function storage device, and one actual value is calculated by substituting the accumulating total value to the conversion function.
