PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing mechanism of a machine tool easily applied to an already installed machine tool, and not requiring a troublesome operation. SOLUTION: A fixing tool 2 comprising a base plate (base part) 3 located on a floor 7, and a contact plate (contact plate) 4 contacting a machine tool 1 is used. Then, an adhesive is applied on the base plate 3 and the contact plate 4 of the fixing tool 2, and the bed part of the machine tool 1 desired to be fixed is bonded to the contact plate 4. The base plate 3 is bonded to the floor 7, so as to fix the machine tool 1. Also, an epoxy-base adhesive which has high shearing strength (21-41 N/mm<SP>2</SP>) and is easy to pad is used as the adhesive. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
