PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera for offering superior photographing environment, in which a scale line and a lattice line are subjected to composite display automatically with a through image based on the functions and specifications of mounting lenses. SOLUTION: The digital camera capable of changing a taking lens includes a discrimination means for discriminating the specifications or the type of lens and a selecting means for selecting a composite image to be composed with a through image and displayed on an indication device according to the discrimination results of the discrimination means. In the digital camera, a scale line and a lattice line are displayed by composition automatically with the through image based on the functions and specifications of the lenses.
